The future of this project
Through cooperations with other scholars and institutions we hope to continue this project in the next couple of years. For more information regarding the project please see below.
In 2017 two researchers from Europe, one from Italy and one from Germany, met for the first time in Shanghai. They met because they were both doing research in Sinophone literature.
Sinophone Studies is a dynamic and interdisciplinary research field, but one which has also gained far less recognition in Europe than in the US.
Publications
We are planning to publish an edited volume with some of the papers which will be presented at the upcoming conference.
Conferences
Due to the great amount of submissions for the conference, we are planning to organize another conference and/or workshop in the next two years.
Network
One goal of this project is to connect people who are working in or on Sinophone Europe. Therefore, we are trying to establish a network for the researchers in order to stay connected.
